Terms of Use and Disclaimer
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
HR Math Hub (the "Site", at www.hrmathhub.com) is operated by Genial Software Solutions Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information only, not professional advice
The calculators and articles on this Site are for general information and education. They are not tax, legal, accounting, financial, investment, payroll or human resources advice, and using the Site does not create an advisor-client relationship with us. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional such as a CPA, tax preparer, attorney or financial advisor. Employers should use official sources (for example IRS Publication 15-T and their state agencies) and their payroll provider to calculate real withholding.
3. Estimates and accuracy
We aim to use current figures (2026 tax year) from the IRS, the Social Security Administration and the U.S. Department of Labor, but tax and employment laws change and the calculators use simplified assumptions. For example, they use the standard deduction, assume one job and no tax credits, leave out local taxes, and estimate state income tax with an approximate rate. Your real paycheck, tax bill, leave eligibility or retirement balance can be different. We do not promise that any result is accurate, complete or up to date. See How we calculate for the assumptions.
4. HR and leave tools
The overtime, PTO and FMLA tools summarize general federal rules. State and local laws, union agreements and employer policies may give you more rights or different rules. A result from these tools is not a legal determination of whether you are eligible for leave or owed overtime; that is decided by your employer, the Department of Labor or a court.
5. Investment projections
The 401(k) calculator shows hypothetical projections based on numbers you enter. Real investment returns vary and can be negative. Nothing on the Site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment.
6. No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use the Site at your own risk.
7. Limit on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss (including lost wages, penalties, interest, taxes or investment losses) arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
8. Advertising and third-party links
The Site may show ads from third parties such as Google AdSense and may link to other websites, including GRC Training Online. We do not control or endorse third-party content, products or services, and we are not responsible for them. Ads are labeled and are separate from our calculators.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the Site: no attempts to disrupt or overload it, no automated scraping at scale, and no use that breaks the law. You may link to any page.
10. Ownership
The Site's content, design and code are owned by Genial Software Solutions Inc. unless noted. You may use the calculators for your own personal or internal business use. Please do not copy or republish the Site's content without our written permission. IRS, SSA and DOL materials are U.S. government sources that we cite; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by those agencies.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.
12. Changes
We may update these terms or the Site at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
